    I just came across your build and it is impressive. I was an Eagle crew member from 1992 to 1994, where we also sailed to Europe. It was a great trip. An in-law had a model of the Eagle and gave it to me. Although you are more detailed on what the modeler did with this one, I thought I might share a few pictures of it in case there is a simpler way to address something. I am excited to see your build come along I threw in one of me on the bow as the Eagle was dipping in the water- rough seas that day. Mike

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
