    Hi, very interesting post! Can you give me some more details about your work. The Batavia certainly is a very interesting - and beautiful - ship with an even more interesting history. Are you recreating all the original parts in scale? Or do you create a 3d printed ‘bulkhead based’ model? i was thinking to start with the creation of a drawing of a very simple boat, like a rowing boat on a 1:64 or even 1:32 scale, with not too many parts. I do not have a 3d printer yet, so perhaps you can advise which model is suitable.
