  1. Introduction to myself.  I’m 84 years old and have been retired for 25.  I have sailed most of my life starting in a 12ft dinghy in the South of England  finally

single handed my 45’ Rob Ball designed vessel to the Hawaiian Islands and back.  Truly believe that the two finest days in a sailors life.areis the day you buy your boat and the day you sell her.  Life took over as it can.  I modelled a Bluenose which turned out OK then a RC P51 that I sold.

I’’m about to start OcCr Ulises…..the tug.  Now I have the time, the space and the magnifying headset.  However my objective is to build an Endeavor having an abiding interest in Shackleton’s heroic exploits in and around Antarctica.  Again I’m leaning towards the OcCre kit unless convinced otherwise.  I will need all the help I can get as I find the rigging daunting for ageing hands.  Now off to finish a 1:24 Spitfire and discuss with my wife its final destination.  Seriously looking forward to interacting with MSW.

Slight typo…….dugh!  Not the Endeavor but The Endurance ultimately lost in the ice but found 100 years later.

Interested in any aftermarket deck accessories for both the Ulises and Endurance OccRe kits.
