I am enjoying some recent postings on youtube by Russell Barnes.  He is using CAD (very old Autocad) but this enhances the video.  It is very followable, and Mr. Barnes explains line by line what he is doing.  Which is a boon for me.  I will be laying out frames for some ships I am considering in the near future. 

I wish there were more videos like this indeed.   This is video 1, there are three.  Wonderful!  Thanks Russell.
