Evening all,

Has anyone got any recommendations or advice on an appropriate rake for the masts on a 17th century English warship? I am at the early stages of building the De Agostini 'Sovereign of the Seas' and noticed that all the masts are upright, which doesn't look right.

Best regards, Frazer

I think that I may have answered my own question. I received some information by email this evening and it appears that 'Sovereign of the Seas' was built with a 2 degree forward rake on the foremast and 3 and 4 degrees aft rake on the main and mizzen respectively.
