So as the terror is on hold for a while .I pulled the next subject out of my stash .

 

Hm gun brig adder by vanguard models .

 

I must say I'm blown away by the build manual . So much better than what I have experienced so far . This should make things so much easier for me .

Looking forward to this one .

 

 

So started with assembling the jig.

 

 

Then set the frames into the keel .

The frames are 3mm MDF and are quite tight going into the keel . My heavy handedness managed to break frame 11 . So after a bit of surgery I made some more progress .

 

So I am assuming this kit has been updated at some point as I came across the following patterns with a little message .

 

 

 

Then the bow formers went in . And the false deck went on .also made a start on fairing the hull .

 

Then I shaped the gun port patterns and this afternoon got the glued into place .

 

That's as far as I have got so far .

I have to say again the build manual is fantastic . It takes away a lot of the guesswork.
