Hi guys,
Quick question for those who’ve built harbor or port scenes.

I’m working on a scale port model and trying to get Yokohama fenders to look realistic, especially the diameter vs. ship hull height. I’ve checked real product photos and specs on a few marine equipment sites (one example I looked at is https://www.jerryborgmarine.com), but translating real dimensions into model scale is still tricky.

In your experience, is it better to follow real size ratios strictly, or slightly exaggerate fender size so it’s more visible and “reads” better at scale?

Any advice from port model builders would help.
