  1. USS George C. Marshall

Last of the 41 for Freedom Class Ballistic Missile Submarines. Marshall was a 640 Class SSBN. The need for this class came from the United States development of late modifications of Poseidon Missile system, and then to the Trident 1 these new missile systems were larger and heavier. The goal not achieved until the mid 80s was to have a system capable of covering targets while the boats could remain in home port. This eliminated the need for costly facilities in Holyloch and other areas outside of the US

  3. USS RAY SSN 653 1/350

This is the first submarine I served on. This is the ship that made me a man. I came aboard as a 19 year old kid, and left a warrior. It is strange to model the places you really walked, to paint the areas that you really had to paint. This project brought back so many wonderful memories.

  4. SSN 700 Bottle with working Lighthouse

Here is another version of my working lighthouse in a bottle. Made some improvements. The light flashes in time with the real lighthouse. I used my new photo etch skill to detail the light tower.

  7. Russian VICTOR III 1/350 Scale

Based on the kit from HOBBY BOSS. I added photo etched parts and I made my own decals on the sail. This submarine suffered a fire in recent years that claimed the lives of two of her crew. She has since been refitted and is one of the only remaining VICTOR III class left in service.

  9. Surprise Box

Three tiny models used to create a unique box. Models are of maple, bass, steel, and brass. Nameplates are my own photo etch as is the US Submarine insignia.

The submarine is of the 637 class attack submarine. I served on USS RAY SSN 653 of the same class. The ship is a Bermuda sloop. I hope you enjoy this. It took 18 hours of build time.

  12. Stove by a Whale! Sinking of the ESSEX 1820

This was made from a broken model of the little Academy Whale ship. The base is two inches round. I made my own photo etch parts for this as a test. The work here is my second in a series of whaling ship dioramas.

  15. USS TRUTTA SS 421

USS TRUTTA as she appeared at the end of WWII and as she appeared as a converted GUPPY Class. The two models are in a single case one atop the other on separate mirror shelves. I based the hull on the old LIONFISH kit. It had the correct shape but that was about all it had.
