  1. Just to let everyone know, I think I have things sorted. Did a google search on how to retrieve stored passwords in Windows, and managed to get my password figured out. I then accessed the build log spreadsheet and clicked on a log. When it told me I had no permission, I logged in. And that did the trick. So, David was correct, thank you sir. Its just weird that I was able to access the build log forum but not the spreadsheet.
  2. I guess that's where I am confused. I'm posting, so I must be logged in and a member, right? My old login name is the same as this one, this is the only account I have. I can access everything, including the build log section. I can view the current logs there. The only time I get that message is when I try to view a log from the spreadsheet. I will see if I can figure out how to PM an admin. Thank you both.
  3. Long time lurker here, first time posting. I actually have two problems. 1) I can't remember my password. I must have it stored somewhere to be able to access the website, but I have no idea what it is, or where to look. 2) And more importantly to me, is I can no longer access the build logs via the spreadsheet in the Build Log section. no matter what log I click on, I get the below message. Due to issue 1), I can't attempt to sign in. But my thought is, I must be signed in or I wouldn't be able to access the Build Log section? Or am I wrong? Everything has been fine up until about 2 weeks ago, so not sure where to start or what to do. I can access everything else on the website as normally I have been for the last 2 years. The only thing I can't do is view build logs via the spreadsheet. If I need to sign in again, I'll need help with my password. Windows 10 user, and not sure what other info you need. Help!! And thank you in advance. Todd

About the NRG

If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
