  1. Danish fishing vessel 1/220 from cardstock

In the 1900s with upcoming of the petrol engine, the Danish began to increase their fishing fleet in order to outrun fishermen who were underway by sail only. The fast Danish vessels suddenly appeared on the fishing grounds, took their advantage of speed and catched and delivered their fish before the others could react.
    That's why they've been nick-named "shark cutters".
My model is nearly 95% scratch built, that's why I'm posting it here. Scale is 1/220.

  2. USS Olympia 1/200 cardstock

The build of this model took about 1 year.
It's Dewey's USS Olympia in her 1904 configuration with radio room, antennas and white-and-buff paint.

  3. Ice Breaker "Stettin" HMV card model scale 1/250

One of my christmas gifts from my beloved wife. It's the German ice breaker "Stettin", built in 1933, decommissioned 1979 and still afloat carrying tourists and guests.
The model is from cardboard and depicts the vessel as it can be seen today. Publisher is HMV, the model has been constructed by Peter Brandt. I built it "out of the box", adding thread railings and some colour here and there.
