Hi everyone 

Don't know if this has been asked or not but wanted to know what rough size do you guys cut your lumber for harvesting?

i work at a cabinet shop and time to time we get some extra lumber, so i was thinking of cutting them to smaller size for future use maybe 3x24x1? 

Ramin is basicly anigre i did a little research because i have an old kit from Artesania Latina and was looking for the same wood that came with it basically from research ramin is also known as anigre with you can find all day on ebay hope this wasn't too late 

Paul: that's what I want I was looking for illustrator. I guss I can then import the vector into Photoshop and enlarge with out the thicker lines? or will illustrator do the enlarging too?

mark: i have the plans not much help only give the keel in real size

Paul: i have photo shop cs6 but not that familiar with it at all. 

Hey guys like the tittle says. i need help resizing the image below to the size thats on the paper, so i can start over. (restarting a kit that was build 10+ years ago now warped in every direction). i tried playing with the % and copy but that dosn't work, the problem is the lines get thicker the bigger the image gets. any suggestion or can anyone do this for me its my first kit and would like to start it right rather then try fixing it and hope i don't run into problem's.

Long story short I bought a kit 10+ years ago (original San Francisco). Assembled the frames and keel, and the lower and main deck . Now that I'm returning to the hobby I notice that some of the frame parts are off square a little. And the deck is not siting flat on top or the keel and frame parts. So my question is should I try to take it apart (another topic on its own) and put it back together with a jig or leave it alone and just try to continue? I'll try to get pictures this afternoon.

I'm going to fill the space between the frames witch is what most people do for planking. I think that should square it up. But don't know if this will be a problem down the line.
