  9. BOHUSLÄN swedish live museum steamer built 1914

back in the 1970`ties there was this wonderfull BOHUSLÄN kit in scale 1:50 launched by Billing boats. I started it without having bought the Fittings kit, so made These myself. The Steamer spent many years hidden in a Celler cubboard till it was finalized in 2009. The lifeboats are Little clinker planked models on Frames themselves, and the Steamer hull was metal plated resemling the rivet structure. The dust protection glass case is also self made

  10. PAMIR 4-mast barque version as 1957

The model is scratchbuilt scale 1:97, plank on frame and metal-plated. The Version, except to the full rigging, is correponding to the looks when she foundered in hurricane Carrie in Sept 1957 with tragic loss of young lives in the Atlantic ocean, there were only 6 survivers.

  11. Steamship Heinrich Kayser

This Steamer was built in 1898 at FSG shipyard in Flensburg / Germany under the Name "Elbing" for account of the German-Australien-shipping Company and she served the German Australian route many years.
Renamed to "Heinrich Kayser" my grandfather was her captain, when she foundered in 1922, taking all on board down with her in the northwest Atlantic without leaving a trace.

  13. Mediteranean Chebec "Eagle of Algier"

This Chebec is based on an Amati plan which has been enlarged from scale  1:60 to new 1:48, the armed ship is built from scratch with many special details inside / outside with outcut viewing possibility from the port side. It is representing a vessel that was also used by corsairs and pirates of the mediteranean North African "Barbary Coast".
The crew I have chosen and gathered together, is recruited from a bunch of multi cultural "ruffians". The build time was appr. 9 months.
