    Hi my name is Les Moore I live in Perth Western Australia I bought a Mantua model HMS Victory art 782 same as the 738 without sails. I was born in Chatham England where the Victory was built So it has a special place I am retired 79 so have plenty of time. i have completed the hull but desperately need help to fit the gun port lids as the instructions are useless I believe that after I drill the holes using the template provided I have to glue the pinties into the hull and glue the brass port hinges onto the gun port lids I have already cut and painted once the hinges and pinties are glued I believe I have to fix them with glue using the brass wire and I have to bend the hinge to accommodate the rope that goes into the hull I would appreciate any help on this, photos would be great or just a basic suggestion to help me to continue kind regards Les Moore

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
