    In the 90s my father built a model of HMS Victory -possibly from a Corel kit. He recently passed away and left the ship to me and so the ship is very valuable to me. I was able to get it from Cape Town to New York area where I currently live but the stand was broken in transit. I am looking for advice for how to proceed to get a new stand for the ship. A small piece of rigging was also damaged and I am also wondering how to find a plan of the model so that I can try to repair it. Thank you in advance

About the NRG

If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
