    Hello Dazliare, thank for your interest. for the coloring and some of the drawings,I am using PaintShop. Scratch building is a chalienge, but allow you to build the model you whant and not what is provided by a small number of card model companies. From my experiance you need a lot of information - drawings (side, top and hull sections as minimum), and a lot of pictures.

    Hello all, the first warship build threat I want to present to this forum is a scratch build SAAR 3 missile boat. This boats are a development of the SAAR 2 missile boats. Both were designed by Lurssen shipyard in Germany and manufactured by Cherbourg-based shipyard. 6 SAAR 3 boats served in the Israeli Navy from 1970 for 20 years, and participate in the first world surface to surface missile battles in 1973. Later, two boats were transferred to the Chilean Navy. The model, at a scale of 1-100 has a length of 45cm. Hull design is based on left and right segments connected at the hull's deck. By this, any mismatch will be covered by the keel. Started in October 2021, the building thread is shared at Papermodelers forum. As you can see I am recycling... Bridge and woden deck (done from two layers bonded one on top the other. And a hint to the model latest progres Hope that my first thread posting is OK and pictures are uploaded. mor54

    Hello all, I am new to this forum, but not to model building. Building aircraft card models for many years, started also scratch building of aircraft and missile boats at a scale of 1-100, and planning to advance to bigger and mor challenging warships.
