  1. Good afternoon – I have a beautiful ship – It is the Atlantic Refiner. My father sailed on this, the Dealer the Trader and the EJ Henry, but the Refiner was his favorite ship. Information about this ship is below. My father had this built. It is in impeccable condition in a dust proof case. Sadly, he passed away on July 19th. I do not know what to do with this ship. I have no place to keep it, but I won’t give it away or sell it. It was expensive. Could anyone on this site provide information on what to do, how to sell, who may be interested if donated?? Engine: 2 steam turbines, manufactured by Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Company, Pittsburgh. 7240 B.h.p., 5401 kW. Speed 15 knots. 26 Tanks. History: ATLANTIC REFINER-1945 completed for Atlantic Refining Company, Philadelphia, USA. ATLANTIC REFINER-1954 for Tanker Transportation Inc., Monrovia, Liberia. POCHTECA-1962 for Sulphur Carriers Corporation, Monrovia, Liberia. Additional Reports: Reported Pochteca converted into molten sulphur tanker in 1962 by Alabama DD. & SB. Co., Mobile with centerline tanks for carrying molten sulphur, gross tonnage reduced. New dimensions 6901 grt. Reported Pochteca sold to shipbreakers in Spain.
