  1. Pardon my ignorance, in your first picture, what do the purple squares you drew mean?
  2. You are all very helpful, what a wonderful community! From your comments, this is what i'll try: 1) Yes, the keel is bent, already confirmed it. Will try to build a jig, apply some steam and try to fix it in position. 2) will unglue those which are clearly not square and place them again. 3) all is as in plans, i numbered the pieces before removing and just checked. 4) i'll unglue the 2 after the transom and recheck. Either the plans weren't right or i numbered them wrong. Will keep you updated, thank you very much!
  3. I've just started my second build - bounty launch by occre - and i think i already ruined it. If you look at the first and second pictures, you'll see that the line doesn't connect with two bulwarks. I read it happens and that you need to add a sliver. Then i passed a line on the other side and saw that its NOT the same bulwarks that arent' connecting (third picture). Well, the fourth picture shows they aren't in line. And the fifth and sixth show i clearly glued several bulwarks with slight (or more) angles! AND i also managed to bend the keel... Finally, the bow bulwark protrude from the false keel, as is in the instructions. BUT they should be lined yet the second is lower. Can any of this be solved? Or have I ruined the model? I read that it can be unglued wraping the parts in a tissue enbedded in alcohol for a day. Or maybe using a load of filler? Anyway, how do i make sure bulwarks are perfectly leveled/perpendicular to the false keel? Please help, any advice to save the model will be greatly appreciated, it was a birthday present from my wife
