Did I mention to you that we have a few copies of the Handbook with blemished covers?  They have some white spots or streaks on the cover, but the insides are fine.  We are offering them for $7 instead of $13.99.  I can't save you anything on the shipping cost, but at least you would get something off the price of the Handbook.  Let me know if you are interested.

  2. have recently got the le hussard kit, but am not feeling like starting yet as i have had a knee replaced 3 weeks ago and the painkillers are leaving me with no get up and go. I will get to it soon i hope. in the meantime am reading lots to get it right first time. years ago i did uss constitution, more recently, spent 2 years doing the belem artesiana kit with great satisfaction in the result. i will try later date to put a pic of the finished Belem up. as far as tools are concerned, i look everywhere to find useful ones. i have a very useful rigging tool obtained from a watch repair kit {internet} that has a double end with a slot in each, one is straight and one angled and the slots hold rigging ropes for placement around masts etc. supercheap and bunnings are also good places to look, as is spotlight. hope this is of help.
