Thank you, Jack. The wood is pear wood with some boxwood used for the tiny mouldings on the storage bins. Yes, I made all the metal parts myself turning them out of brass on a Proxxon lathe. Some milling and silver soldering was also required. The ropes (both right and lefthand laid) were laid on a ropewalk I made few years back following Frolich design. I used polyester for the cable restraiing the cannon and cotton for the other ropes..In the end I must say I am pretty satisfied with the outcome.

Thank you Clare. It is a small thing, about 30 cm long, but a lot of work was involved if you wanted, as I strived to, riproduce all the tiny details of the original boat as shown on the drawings.
Ancre monographs are first class and some of them are also published in English, as the one used for the model.
