I am in the process of renovating a 1/70 scale, scratch-built model of the Clipper Ship Benjerman F Packard. The model was originally built in xxxx by Joe Anastasia and the current owner. Most of the cleaning and re-rigging is done. The question remains “What is the best way to “restore” the ship’s hull below the waterline where a lot of the copper plating has become unglued”.  I have considered using copper tape, painting or just leaving as it is after a rough trip around the Horn. I would greatly appreciate your thoughts.

Thank you

Bill
