I am prepping some items for an upcoming Vanguard Harpy build.  Inspired by Glenn, Blue Ensign, ECK and others, I requested the kit for Xmas and got it. 😊

I have started tinkering/planning with the Harpy before even beginning the planking for my current build. Most build logs show some creative license with replacement rings over the supplied eyebolts on the lower deck for lifting hatch handles.  I wanted to also experiment a bit.  I have used 28 gauge black wire which lays flatter and threaded that through 2mm and 3mm rings as lifting handles. Not sure which looks more to scale.  Also painted 3mm & blackened 2mm.  Thoughts on which size / scale and finish looks best?  I’ll probably prep all 40 for the lower Harpy deck and get back to the Adder.
