DavidP Posted October 23, 2013 #1 Posted October 23, 2013 Are the nails on the final planking of the San Franscio supposed to be visiable? It appears to me that the original ship would not have brass nails.
HIPEXEC Posted October 24, 2013 #2 Posted October 24, 2013 I doubt it. Are you planning on a veneer plank layer over the primary planks? Because on my first build I left all the brass nails in on the first layer of planks, then covered them with a veneer layer with no nails. See what others say, though.
