M&M Fun Ship by Popeye the sailor

this is a ship that I built for my wife. she is an avid collector of M&M memorabilia and asked me if this was possible. this concept quickly came to mind and I followed it, with no plans, except for the creation of the hull. the hull is is re fabricated from parts panels of the Billing Boats kit The Mary Ann, everything else is scratch, right down to the stereo equipment. I had a lot of fun building this boat, and I hope you enjoy viewing it.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
