Nice job with those sails.  Quite an improvement over the vacuum formed sails that came with the kit.  Other than the sails, what other upgrades did you include?  Any plans for yours now that she's done?

I've built it twice.  The first one I sold, the last time I built for myself and replaced the decks, masts, and spars with wood.  Unfortunately a bad fall in my garage has laid her up in drydock for years since all the masts and rigging was so severely damaged they had to be removed.  I did mine bare poled since I didn't like the sails and didn't have any wide display space for those studding sails anyway.

Dave,

Thank you, lots of hours went into the hand sewing of the boltropes and reef bands, not to mention the rigging.

Detail reference came from a book by Karl Heinz Marquardt “Anatomy of The Ship” .  The sails, flags, blocks, wood decks and rope came from a supplier in the Czech Republic.  HiSModel.com

For now she is the center piece in my own basement museum. Sorry to here about your Connie’s damaging fall. Hopefully you can get her restored.
Thanks

John
