Revell 1/426 USS Arizona

Second build finally complete.  Newbie here, but I was pleased enough with how this came out that I wanted to share.  I started with the USS Missouri which I felt was a pretty challenging kit for a beginner.  Moved on to the USS Cleveland, but about mid-way frustration set in so I changed gears to a practice model in the Revell Arizona.  Pretty simple kit, no photo etch (yay), and low enough cost that I could experiment a bit.  Wasn't planning on ever displaying her, but she came out nicer than I was thinking so here she is.  Discovered a major unfixable error after she was mounted, but overall for such an old kit I liked how she turned out.  Wasn't trying for historical accuracy.  Just wanted a nice display and conversation piece.

Amazingly, I built this kit as a kid back in the very early 1970s.
