Pelican (Golden Hind) by Baker

This is an attempt to build an English galleon from the 2nd half of the 16th century.
The idea was first to build the Golden Hind later the name of the topic was changed to Pelican, the original name of this ship.

This model and its build log are a gold mine of useful information. Really great build. The user-friendly chapter headings in the build log are a nice touch too.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955.
