A4. Greek traditional ship model named "Bombarda Sabatiera"

The model represents the Greek traditional vessel "Trechantiri" with an old type of rigging.
It's a version of "Polacra" rigging where on the standard one (called just "Bombarda") there was a gaff sail and its topsail on the mizzen. In this version there's a big lug sail.
This type of rigging was appeared in Greece at early of 19 century and she was called "Bombarda Sabatiera".
Both types of rigging were used on commercial transportation vessels.
Thanks
