HMS Ardent

Launched in 1764. 64-gun, Third-Rate British Royal Navy capital ship. 1:64 scale, largely scratch built POB but modified from bulkheads in Caldercraft's Agamemnon kit. Wood is chiefly Swiss pear, some cherry with castello boxwood masts/spars as well as some deck furniture. The model's display plinth has solid cherry rails with a simulated marble baseboard. These are Preliminary photos to be updated in the near future. Thanks to Joe (Wacko) for the photos from the NE Conference in April. Built by MSW member, Ron Neilson
