Typical upper Missouri River (USA) steamboat of the 1870s. Scratchbuilt from plans for the famous Far West, the boat that ascended the Yellowstone River in support of General Custer's troops before and after the battle of Little Big Horn. Built from wood, with styrene castings for doors and windows. Chimneys, furnaces, and engines all scratchbuilt from styrene stock.
