Mike,
I just caught up with you and you model of the Pennsylvania is outstanding. Your gantry is the coolest piece of modeling equipment I have seen in a long time. Having ruined a couple of section models due to the multiplying effect of one piece or another being out of plumb, this seems to be the solution I have been looking for. Elegant and simple, would you be willing to share dimensions and building tips on your gantry?
Regards,
Mark

Evan,
I am so very glad you are well and back up on the net. Your Constitution is an example of what can be done with a dose of passion and a bucketful of patience. I look forward to your next posts as the pictures and interplay they engender are both a pleasure to read and thought provoking as well.
Welcome back,
Mark

I followed your articles for the entire build - absolutely beautiful and the adjunct research advice by the members was first rate. Question - did you stop at the hull or did you finish the entire model? I you took it to its completed stage, did you document that as well?
Thanks again for a terrific build and fabulous documentation,
Mark

Dude, you rock! The perfect ending to an outstanding effort. With a model presentation like this, I do not see how the wife can complain as it is easily dusted . Can hardly wait for the next revamp of a marginal offering - how about the Essex half hull from Amati?
cheers,
Mark
