  1. HMCS Agassiz (K-129)

I recently came across a forgotten build log of this model, which I completed for a friend back in 2007. He was an English teacher who did a unit on The Cruel Sea . The model was used as a visual aid. The model is a 1/100 scale card model published by Modelik. Apologies for the poor picture quality -- ancient digital camera technology is to blame.

  2. USS ENGLAND (DE-635)

Built from the 1/250 scale HMV kit. USS England earned distinction for sinking six Japanese submarines in the space of twelve days in May of 1944. Later that same year she survived a kamikaze hit with large loss of life. She returned stateside for repairs, but the war ended before these were completed, and, being surplus to peacetime requirements, she was sold for scrapping.
