    Hi there. I've been following Chucks build log with much interest and decided that it was time for me to jump in at the deep end and have a go myself. I have limited experience having only built the Sergal Presidant kit and then Victory Models HMS Fly, so be gentle with me. Looking forward to purchasing the kit and getting started.

    Thanks for your help. I think I'll go with your idea popeye. The euphroe block is so thin that its impossible to put a strop round it and start there. Wish me luck.

    Could anyone who has built Victory models HMS Fly tell me how they rigged the crowsfeet and euphroe's with the ones supplied with the kit. I've looked in Lees masting and rigging book,and seen that I would need an odd number of holes in the top and that I'd have to strop the thread to the centre of the block to start it off. Unfortunately with the kit, I have an even number of holes in the top and It isn't possible to strop the threat to the centre of the block as it is too thin. HELP
