  1. I used parts from a Minicraft Titanic to make the skylights and ventilators for the deck house.I turned a plastic ring with my Dremel and made the stack ring to attach the chains.
  2. Further wirk done on the deck houses and ran the wires through the hull and display base with a plug in 4 AA battery power source with a built in on/off switch.
  3. I did not have an engine for it ,so I took the front bank of 7 cylinders from a 1/32 Revell Beaufighter and sleeved them with aluminum tubing and wrapped with 22 gauge wire to simulate cooling fins.Brass wire serves as pushrods.Too heavy to fly, this will make an interesting ceiling hanger.
  4. I did not have the decals so I made stencils out of thin plastic and airbrushed them on. Worked well with some touch up required.
  5. Yes indeed!Legos would be a great tool to make a building slip for Model ship building !
  6. I used Lego plates and bricks as an assembly fixture to set the dihederal.
  7. I found the plans on line and took them to Kinkos to have them enlarged 200 percent. Most parts cut out of Midwest 1/16" sheet basswood.
