    Finding the rue bearding and rabbit lines. Neither pieces 21/22, nor the no.! bulkhead fit the natural bearding or rabbet lines.

    In the following image you will see the error between bulkhead 1 and the bow pieces 21 & 22 This means that some work is going to have to be done to find out which of the pieces, if any is correct. (see next reply

    Initial dry fitting of bulkheads Bulkheads 7 & 8. The actual difference between these two bulkheads is smaller than the degree of (in)accuracy of the plans. In the following two images you will see the comparison between them

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955.
