    Hello after a break. As promised - October we return to continue building the model. I will provide the report in real time. So we start by tying the hitches on the shrouds.

    I took a seasonal break from building the model. I plan to resume work around October 1, 2024. Of course, the report will be continued on this page.

    The ropes on my model are not to scale with respect to the cables. I did it consciously, because I believe that they are a unique decoration of every sailing ship.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955.
