  1. Ab Teabag paper is similar, to my understanding, to Silkspan although I never have used Silkspan as I, like you, could not find this on-line. I therefore cannot compare. The teabag paper worked for me and I used the same technique for making the sails as described by others who used Silkspan on this forum, by painting the paper with an acrylic paint.
