  1. I have had a hard time soldering a bracket on a brass cannon. I used silver bearing solder paste then I used tinning flex and with solder wire using a soldering iron I got one soldered and painted black. there hast to be a easier way. D Cobb help
  2. Finished Midwest The Sakonnet Daysailer used a lot of may own parts, including replacing balsa with boxwood, I do not like balsa wood and like making my own sails. I stated making model ships less than two years , I have made seven Midwest sailboats and I am starting The San Francisco Bay Scow Schooner, then its time to move on to something new. I learned a lot but I have along way to go before I can take on a ship that needs a higher skill level that I would like to do
