    I was referred by John at Modelexpo with my problem. I have built over 20 model ships and am having hard time understanding the directions on the Corel model French Privateer "Tonnant" The direction were written in French, translated to Italian by the company that made the model. The Italian was "translated " to english and that is the problem. I cannot easily follow the directions on the rigging as the sentences don't make sense and are incomplete. Has anyone worked on the Tonnant and completed the rigging?

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
