    Topgallant Storm Rig

    I have not seen anything like this rig. I found it in NRG #28 pg. 84. As I have been trying to learn about rigging, I have read a LOT of books on the subject. I do not recall if it was ever mentioned. Looking at the painting, the Topgallants have been lowered. It makes sense to me as it would lower the center of balance.  Can anyone point me in the direction of further reading on this? Would this be a common practice?
