    Dieser Raddampfer Krieg mein erstes neues Projekt war ich gebraucht habe. Da ich zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch keine Baupläne hatte, habe ich mir ein paar Fotos angeschaut und ein paar Zeichnungen und Skizzen gemacht. Nach 6 Monaten Bauzeit Krieg dann der Dampfer fert. Als Materialien dienten Eisstäbe, Kaffeestäbe, Fleisch- und Gemüsestäbe, Papprollen und ein paar Leisten aus dem Baumarkt. Edit by moderator: Please use an online translator! Translation: "This paddle steamer was my first new project I needed. Since I had no blueprints at the time, I looked at a few photos and made a few drawings and sketches. After 6 months of construction the steamer was finished. Ice cream sticks, coffee sticks, meat and vegetable sticks, cardboard rolls and a few strips from the hardware store were used as materials."

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
