  1. Hello! My name is Jeff and I've been involved in modelling/painting for over 4 decades. I just haven't done a sailing ship in a looooong time. I figured I'd get back into it by build a couple plastic models first before taking on actual wooden models. I have the Mayflower to replace an old model I lost while deployed many years ago and then its on to the 1:96 Revell USS Constitution. If I feel the love for it like I did back then, I want to take a step into the wooden kits. Jeff
  2. Thanks, Rob! Worked like a charm.
  3. Gotten the basic start and initial painting is still in progress. After all these years it feels almost like I'm back at my dad's hobby table where I was working on this the first time.
  4. So I wanted to load a couple pictures on my first log and no matter how I have my rotation set on my desktop, the pictures appear upside down. I tried searching for a clear answer and couldn't easily locate it. What am I doing wrong?
  5. So its been decades since I last did a model. I did the Mayflower over 40 years ago. It was damaged beyond repair while I was deployed overseas. I figured I'd start back in and replace this model. I got the 1972 kit off of E-Bay. It comes with the plastic rat lines so I thought I'd make them myself for a more realistic look. Let's see if my skills as a modeller/painter have improved over time and if my hands and I eyes can handle doing rigging.
