Hey folks! I was wondering if paper model ships are a legitimate source of interest to anyone as I am planning on giving this a try. Meticulous work so I am not very certain as to what I’m getting into but to me they are quite impressive! Has anyone ever crafted one? I like the idea how clean they look in appearance! Unique creativity and craftsmanship. Please let me know. Thank you.

As I read the fascinating build logs of other members I am intrigued so much by the craftsmanship, ingenuity, and work process; especially through the photography. I must improve this feature in my own builds. Thank you all for sharing your work.

Hi TBlack, living in Boise, Idaho. Love it here, but wish to live nearer to the coast. Love the maritime scene. Hope you are doing well.

Not really sure what to say. Been working with my wife on her first build, a Yankee Tender, 3/4" = 1' - 0". Today we built the strong-back, did pretty well. We took plenty of time to think things through, as my wife is a deep thinker, researcher, no time - constraints so she takes her time analyzing every course of action, and enthusiastic to build a larger vessel with me on our property for recreational use. For 13 years we have contemplated a small-time boat design and building small business. Just to tune her in on what goes into a work as such I felt she should begin with a model. I think she's hooked now guys. Keep an ear out for her, and an eye, she just joined. Thank you for all the kind sentiments from everyone.
