Nice work! Interesting paint scheme you chose. I've never seen a Flattie model with that scheme, it works. Those kits are fun to build and modify. Hopefully you'll be able to build more ship models.

Great build! I built this kit as a kid in 1972. It was a challenging kit. I like your work on the stuns'ls. I'll vote for 50 years in process with a little detour along the way.

Nice red and white paint work. Crisp and clean.

Beautiful work Melissa T. I was fortunate enough to see the Philadelphia at the Smithsonian. IIRC she still had a canon ball embedded in her bow.

Nice work! Much better than my first wooden ship model. I'll check out your build log for the Niagra.

Absolutely splendid work. The stern and bow are exceptional.

Nice work! Glad to see you finished it. You can always deviate from the instructions if it will make a better model. Good Job!

Superb result on this model. I've read in several places that this kit is really a challenge but your results speak for themselves. Beautiful model.

Well done model of the Preston. She is an icon of Puget Sound maritime history.

Your model brought back a lot of fond memories for me. During the summers of '80 and '81 I worked for Peter Pan Seafoods in Dillingham, AK. My job was to account for the daily catch and maintain each fisherman's catch account by which they would get paid. Beautiful model.

Beautiful build! Slo-Mo-Shun IV is on my wish list to build as a static model. Being from Seattle WA as I am, the original now resides about 20 min. away in the Hydroplane Museum. Nice work on the mahogany decking.
