    I was working on a ship and I already rigged it but I still need sails, I want the sails to be made of paper although I have no basis of what type of paper I need. To get the color I want I would need to brush the paper with yellowish died water and regular printer paper wouldn’t look good as a result. I think a thicker paper wouldn’t curl or wrinkle too much but suggestions would me most helpful.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
