    I am building a model of CGC Tamaroa which I served on from 1966-1970. I am having problems with rigging line through blocks. Mainly making the line lay more realistic. Is there a treatment such as diluted glue etc. to make it lay better. Also how does one blacken brass. I have included a few photos of my build. I purchased the bare hull and have scratch built 90% of the fixtures. Thank You in advance for any help.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955.
