  1. Finally made a start on the planking, after first watching several videos. Doesnt matter who i watch, or what method it always looks straight forward. How wrong. I havent made infil blocks between bulkheads, as some do, but instead tried the techniques used by Chuck. Getting the curve for the stern is easy enough but the bow... I used a crimping tool but think im a bit heavy handed as the plank has broken a few times when bending.  Then issues with glue. Tried a super glue gel first, useless. Then Gorilla glue. Works well but expanded on setting. Now just using a bog-standard super glue on the planks.PXL_20240325_173450641.thumb.jpg.0141048550671d18ba01f4f7a037c760.jpgPXL_20240329_153147763.thumb.jpg.a3e8688f3d6a6631d7ccf29281522a0e.jpgPXL_20240401_134930588.thumb.jpg.5de06a73db9358952e71f5f7cd4b2d3b.jpgPXL_20240401_135540694.thumb.jpg.2aa00aa6dd2b5723963078d0346e74f2.jpg

I have decided that this will be my practice and learning model and hone my skills for the next model, maybe even Lady Nelson again.
