    Nice work, personally I like the effect of seeing a hint of the run off the planks below the anti foul coating. It lets the viewer know this is a planked hull.

    Nice work , I am also working on a Sherbourne I'm almost done with second planking as well. I permanently glued the upper bulwark for the same reason you stated. I however used medium CA to fix the in place Finnish planking and will fill with dry wall joint compound fare the lower hull. looking forward to future updates.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
