  1. the Lobsie Twins - the Denny-Zen

when it was pointed out to me that I had gone too far with the Maine Lobster boat....and killed the subject, I made up another hull from the Midwest kit, and built the rest of the Lobster Boat from scratch. these two boat were built together, once I had caught up to the Phylly C. this was fun to do as a dual build.......no ideas were wasted, I can tell ya that!

  3. M&M Fun Ship by Popeye the sailor

this is a ship that I built for my wife. she is an avid collector of M&M memorabilia and asked me if this was possible. this concept quickly came to mind and I followed it, with no plans, except for the creation of the hull. the hull is is re fabricated from parts panels of the Billing Boats kit The Mary Ann, everything else is scratch, right down to the stereo equipment. I had a lot of fun building this boat, and I hope you enjoy viewing it.

  4. The Gundalow - New Hampshire history

This is a scratch build of a flat bottomed boat that frequented the rivers and estuaries from the 1600's to the early 1900's. used to ferry supplies and goods from the seacoast, inland, these flat bottomed barges were important, in the development of remote town and settlements in the northeast. when the open road and train tracks finally coursed trough the rugged terrain, their usefulness came to an end, marking the end of an era. there were many different types and styles of the Gundalow, they say that no two were the same. one man credited to the Gundalow, was a fellow by the name of Edward H Adams, who after the demise of the Gundalow, dedicated the rest of his life to the preservation of the Great Bay Estuaries. His Gundalow, the Fanny M, was one of the last remaining boats to be seen in this diminishing era.

  7. Billings Nordkap 476

this is the Billing's Nordkap 1:50 scale. this kit was given to me by a friend of mine, who had it in his attic for over twenty years. I built it using the wood that came with it......nothing was laser cut.

  10. Andrea Gail - 1:20 scale

I thought about this boat when I assembled the Boulogne Etaples hull. it was also the catalyst for the Holiday Harbor boats. three hulls were made from the parts panels from this kit. when one of the hulls was found to be void of a subject, I decided to build the Andrea Gail instead. using the Billing Boats instruction sheet, the hull was modified and the rest was scratch built from there. this turned out to be a really fun build.

  11. the Lobsie Twins - the Phylly C.

this is the original Midwest kit of the Maine Lobster Boat. I put it here due to the fact that it has been bashed into another boat. basically, I ruined the subject by doing too much enhancement. rather than scuttle the build, I kept going and built it as a pleasure boat. the swim platform and windshield wipers was a suggestion given to me by Andy {Sorry my friend, but you deserve the mention}. added detail include the ski rack {which I did a year later}, brass railings, detailed helm instrumentation, and other bits of added detail.
