I never put it together. Still complete in original box. Will never attempt it, but am trying to find out about the company who manufactured it. The kit was made by " SHIPS-A-SAILIN'--4424 APRICOT STREET--SIMI VALLEY, CA 93063---the kit is "SHIP IN A BOTTLE, THE CUTTY SARK MODEL 201" I've had it for over 30-35 years and am in interested in selling it to collectors, builders etc. Would appreciate any info... thanx Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It could have been a small business that some one started and since closed. The ship in bottle market in general isn't lucrative. I bought a hundred year old bottle for $250. I'm not sure how much the kit would go for. Sounds interesting though. Please post some pictures.
