Gun Port Positioning, Soveriegn of the Seas

Hi, Can anybody help me. I've aquired an older version of Sergal Sovereign of the Seas which I hope to start soon.

This version is double planked to the top of the bulwarks. My problem is how do I accuratly position the gun ports.

It does not have a template to mark their position, nor does it have full size plans to take measurements from, the instrucions are not very helpful at all.
